Goa has a mild climate. The period between April and June is either very hot or quite warm.
The average temperature in summer ranges from 24deg to32.7deg C. This is followed by the monsoons which are from June to August and characterised by heavy rainfalls averaging 320 cm. While it does cool down with the rains, temperatures can go up to 35° C during brief interludes. At this time the surroundings are fresh and lush green. The best time to visit Goa is during the months of October to April, when temperatures range between 21 and 32 C (70 - 90F). The nights during this time are very pleasant while the days are relatively warm. |
