Properties inscribed on the World Heritage List

The World Heritage List includes 936 properties forming part of the cultural and natural heritage which the World Heritage Committee considers as having outstanding universal value. Given here is the list of properties in India.

While the UNESCO World Heritage List mentions 936 properties internationally that are considered as having outstanding universal value, these include 725 cultural, 183 natural and 28 mixed properties. Of these, India has 21 properties that are listed in the cultural category and 6 in the natural. There are several others that are being considered for inclusion.
